- Negative beliefs about sleep – perhaps through many years of bad sleep, or sleeping badly since childhood, you believe you’re a bad sleeper and there’s little you can do to change this “reality.”
- You over prioritise sleep – in an attempt to sleep well, you set up a strict sleeping schedule, stop going out and build your life around sleep in the hope that the more you focus on it, the better it’ll get.
